Enjoying the Little Things

I just finished my University semester; the pressure is down, the stress flies away and I finally get to enjoy the small pleasures of life. This semester was pretty intense balancing my social life, my professional life and my many school projects. It was a Fall season high in emotions.

In our busy lifestyles and habits, we tend to forget that life is full of surprises and that it is important to enjoy the simplest little things. Sometimes, it is worth it to just sit down, relax and reflect on our failures, our successes and to think about where we are in life. We shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves, everyone makes mistakes and every thing happens for a reason. We need to learn and reflect about our past, but most importantly we need to make the most of our present and take the time to enjoy life now. The future will happen, but sometimes the best is to see where it will lead you without thinking too much about it.

I haven’t wrote on the blog for a while because of this busy semester, but I can’t wait to share more articles with you during this festive time about restaurants, fashion and things to do in Montreal, my favorite city in the world.

Here are 5 things that I did on my first day in Vacation:

1 – Made myself a warm cup of tea and watched How to Get Away with Murder

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER - ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder" stars Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Academy-Award Nominee Viola Davis as Professor Annalise Keating, Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom, Billy Brown as Nate and Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino. Take time for yourself and enjoy the little things!

Hasta la proxima,
