Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Looking for an action movie to rent? Mission: Impossible-Ghost protocol is the newest Mission Impossible and it’s full of suspens, thriller and adventure. It’s a great movie to watch in couple or with friends because it will please almost everyone. There’s also moments that are funny. The actors are awesome!!! Tom Cruise is as usual playing his role amazingly. Paula Patton is also very good and Simon Pegg is so funny!

The story is about the IMF which is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin (in Moscow, Russia) which causes Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name. Plenty of action and suspens!

Dream house

A nice mystery thriller this week? Why not watch Dream House by director Jim Sheridan and writer David Loucka? It’s a good movie, but by watching the preview you expect a scarrier movie than it actually is. It’s not at all an horror movie, it’s more a suspens and mystery film. David Craig is really great and the two little girls play very well their roles (Taylor Geare and Claire Geere). It’s funny because the two sisters are actually sisters in real life. Rachel Weisz was good too. I found that Naomi Watts wasn’t amazing. Her acting wasn’t that good for my opinion.

The story of the movie is about a family (two parents and two young girls) who just moved into their seemingly perfect new home and start to learn about a brutal crime commited against former residents of their dream house. What is the link between the dead family and this new family in this same house? You’ll have to find out by watching the movie.

In Time

A great action sci-fi thriller to rent on DVD? I trully recommend you to see the movie In Time. The director is Andrew Niccol. The story takes place in a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) finds himself accused of murder and on the run with a hostage (Amanda Seyfried), which is a connection that becomes an important part of the way against the system. Injustice, the differences between rich and poor (people that have a lot of time and some that have a little), capitalism and social classes are important themes in this movie. Even though it’s a sci-fi movie, we can really relate to the story and it can make us reflect on many subjects that are very actual.

The actors are very good in this movie. Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake interpret well their roles.
